The Maxi-Cosi lora
The Iora is a bassinet for infants designed to make parents feel more connected to their baby while they sleep. It can be adjusted up and down and can be moved through three slide positions to fit next to the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room, so that baby is always close at hand. The mesh siding lets air flow through and allows you to see your baby easily. You can also store extra pajamas and supplies in the large storage basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that can fold flat. It also comes with a travel bag which allows it to be taken anywhere. Our mum testers found it easy to move from room to room and felt it was a great size for a bedside cot that was not too big or too small. The large storage basket is great to store extra bedding or nappies.
This is a great choice for parents looking to co-sleep, but don't want to share their own beds or whose partner may be suffering from mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mom testers were thrilled to be able to easily access their baby while in the Iora and that it had an optional reflux incline that helped to reduce gas.
Our moms also love the fact that it meets NICE guidelines that state to put the baby in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no toys, blankets, pillows, etc). The mattress is also a good firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are easily available. It's not as light as other smaller cribs on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier to move around, consider a different option.
